Malarkey Certified Contractor Application

The following application must be filled out in its entirety and submitted for evaluation and consideration to become a Malarkey Certified Contractor. Each Branch Location needs to provide an application.

Please include proof of insurance, license (if required by your state), and bonding capability (if required by your state). All Malarkey Approved Contractors must be licensed, bonded and insured.

All Malarkey certified contractors must:

  • Attend (including Malarkey install crew) and complete the Certified Pro Training
  • Complete and pass the Certified Pro test online
  • Have satisfactory rating with State Consumer Affairs
  • Have been in business for a minimum of 3 years
  • Have a minimum of 3 Malarkey home installs
  • Conform to local building codes and regulations
  • Maintain proper licensing in states that require licensing (Include current copy)
  • Maintain necessary General Liability and Workman’s Compensation insurance (Include current copy)
  • Be bonded for states that require bonding (Include current copy from Surety)
  • Be in good standing with Better Business Bureau (Include your rating)

Approval is for specific applications: Steep slope detached single-family dwellings

Who will manage your Certified Contractor web portal (for warranty registrations)?

 

The first contact listed will be the Primary User and will have exclusive access to:

– Updating your company logo, photos, and videos

– Accessing the Malarkey Shop and redeeming rewards

Alternative includes roofing products such as clay/tile, slate, and wood.

 

List three (3) homes previously completed using MALARKEY® products in the last year.

 

The parties to this agreement are the Certified Contractor (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Contractor’) and Malarkey Roofing Products® (hereinafter referred to as ‘Malarkey’).

 

CERTIFIED CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY

When executing Malarkey STEEP SLOPE RESIDENTIAL work, the Contractor agrees that:

  • The Contractor is responsible, without limitation, following job completion, for all work undertaken by the Contractor.
  • The Contractor will install all warranted roofs to Malarkey’s current published  installation recommendations and will undertake at the Contractor’s expense all repairs to any installation related items needing repair, as noted and discussed in the Certified Pro Training.
  • The Contractor is responsible for adhering to program criteria as outlined in Certified Contractor Program application requirements.
  • The contractor agrees to adhere to Malarkey’s “Terms and Conditions – Right to Use’ agreement for clarification on use of our content and branding materials. For more information, visit our website at: malarkeyroofing.com/marketing-assets.
  • The contractor shall uphold professional operating principals designed to enhance trust and satisfaction, including a commitment to quality installation. This includes, but is not limited to; ongoing training and education about roofing industry standards.

 

MALARKEY’S RESPONSIBILITY

Malarkey will be responsible for all Malarkey material warranties as described in our written warranty literature.

 

This application must be submitted by an officer of the Contractor. By submitting this form, we agree to be bound to the terms and conditions contained within, and confirm that all information contained within this application is true and factual to the best of our knowledge. We acknowledge that if we fail to perform to the above terms, our Certified Contractor status will be subject to termination at the discretion of Malarkey.

 

 

Any changes in ownership or officers of the Contractor, name of company, address: Malarkey must be notified within 45 days of change in order to remain a Certified Contractor.
